Veires opened one blood-caked eye, looking around. This wasn't his marsh. He looked around. He was in some sort of lake. Oh well, at least it's a little like a marsh. Veires recalled the events before he passed out. Two trees fell on him after a battle with darkness. He drowned in his swamp... d**n, he must have somehow ended up in this place. He remembered something about geography, and started thinking, This MUST be 'Lilac Lake'... Oh, I'll take it for my own, now!

ooc//bear with this post. I'm lazy. ic//The ebony black body moved across the ground like a ghost, a phantom of the night. Piercing crimson orbs seemed like endless pools you could just fall into and never come out. A mane waved in the air like a banner, deathly lack. His tail was curved down like a deadly black waterfall. His muscles rippled silkily down every length of his muscular bodice. His broad, thick neck flexed with his beating pulse. As his nostrils quivered and tested the air, the all too familiar scents filling them like a cloud. Grass, moist air, trees, and the familiar scent of other equines. His hooves cracked against the ground heavily, like thunderclaps. Eerie, cold, ominous thunderclaps.
As the stallion made his way across the earth, cracks formed around his hooves, making him smirk, the corners of his mouth being tugged on the invisible evil of being a Dark. He tossed his head as he slowed to a curt, brisk trot. He saw the other equines and he snorted, his head going down and shadows casting upon his handsome, glossy face. His crimson orbs glassed over as he studied them all from the tip of their noses down to every last muscle and pelt hair. He was back home.
Hell Fire quivered his lips, cantering into a lightning fast gallop. As he exploded over the earth, a rodent made a terrible mistake on stumbling upon his path. He braked to a halt, digging his daggers into the ground. The rodent was paralyzed with fear and it squeaked with pleas for mercy. Hell Fire ignored these and he rose up onto his hind legs and let out a shriek. It was powerful and cold. It rose up into the air and it fell over the land like a strangling blanket. He stroked his legs through the air. And then he let his forelegs fall.
They fell upon the rodents back with a sickening crunch and the rodent stopped its squeaks, and it looked as though it was folding in half under the pressure. Its eyes bulged and popped out of its head and dangled down to the ground like two black marbles. Death’s cold, clammy, clenching hands grasped the rat’s soul and took it out of its folding body, dragging it under. Hell Fire arched his neck and went for his kill. He let his lips curl back and he closed his glistening ivory white incisors around the rodent’s dead body. No remorse or regret was within him.
He had no problem on killing live things without purpose. It was how he was raised. A heartless, ruthless warrior. True, he had attended many wars. One with Menephis the Charger. It was truly an honor, and up to this day he remains with Menephis as his idol, his superior. He had always looked up to him, always admired the way he killed them out on those battlefields. He had charged head-on with him, sure, he went way out ahead of him, and Hell Fire wasn’t too far behind, but he still ran with all he had, his eyes blazing, and he had ran! He clashed his hooves and his teeth, killing many. Then he separated after the death of Menephis’s father. Now he went alone. But, for now, he would join a herd long enough to straighten things out.

((NOOOOOOOOO!!! Oh wait, it was a rat? Never-mind. YAAAAY!)) Veires heard a chilling screech-of-a-howl going through the Lake. He looked around. Unfamiliar territory... He raised his head, and let loose his own howl, in some sort of response. Every time he howled, of course, fire came from somewhere- but it just came from the lake, and steamed out in a few seconds.

Hell Fire trotted forth, his head bobbing and mane snapping in the rush of wind. He came to a wolf, and his horse instinct told him to run, this was a predator, but he remained put. he saw the steam and the bubble from the lake andhe snorted, his ebony nostrils flaring.
He tossed his head and said,"Who might you be?" He flicked his tail across his rump, his harks perking forth. He snapped his tail at a fly that insisted upon biting him to cause annoyance and itchiness to the horse for its own satisfaction of blood.
From Hell Fire's broad chin dripped droplets of blood from the crushed rat. He arched his neck and looked down upon Veires. He looked evil, but yet, he was in with the Sorrow Wolves. He snorted softly and shifted his weight. As he did so, his muscles rippled down his bodice silkily, like thread so thick and powerful.
